In addition, we can help you with:

Well abandonment – Old existing wells that are no longer in use can be a potential source of contamination of the groundwater for your new well and possibly the entire area. We can properly abandon these wells as required by the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality and the Michigan water well code. The method of abandonment required can vary depending on the type of well it is and the strata in which it is terminated.

Reporting with the Michigan DEQ – We report any new well and pump installation or well abandonment to the MI DEQ within 60 days of completion as required, so you can be sure any work we perform is done properly.
